Location

Bajamar is located forty five miles south of the U.S. / San Ysidro border. Twenty miles further south of Bajamar is Ensenada which is internationally recognized as a tourist resort destination area. A 1454 – Acre green carpet of native fauna and flora dot the site of this resort/residential community that is on its way second to none. 3.2 miles of land along the sea bordered on the east by the toll road and our own interchange. Weather
Bajamar has a mild climate year around, ranging from 55 degrees in the winter to 80 degrees in the height of summer. For its clear skies, beautiful sea, cooling breezes and spicy ground cover are the stuff that makes an escape for the stroller, the whale watcher, the botanist and rock collector, as well as the hard core golfer, tennis freak and those of us who just play and love it. If body surfing is your thing, La Salina Beach is only three miles away northerly.
Recreation
Ensenada internationally recognized as a tourist destination area, and one of the fishing capitals of the world, with sailing, wine festivals, and carnival with a truly cultural Mexican atmosphere.
Infrastructure
Bajamar has approximately 360 homes completed; an 15,000 square foot clubhouse; an 81-room hotel adjacent to the clubhouse and the spectacular 9 hole Oceano course; an extensive network of cobblestone streets; an impressive guard gated entry that emits a grand sense of arrival; and a reputation that lures numerous golfers monthly to test their abilities against the “Best of Baja.”
Utilities
For all home sites are on paved streets with curbs and gutters and fully underground utilities. Electrical power and potable water is available from “La Mision” some six miles away. A new desalinization plant was installed a few years ago. We have sewage treatment plants providing primary and secondary treatment. Butane gas is available from private companies in La Mision and Ensenada. Water meters as well as trash collection are in service.
Shopping and Services
In our opinion, the beaches, hotels, restaurants are excellent and shops are stuffed with genuine Mexican folklore, arts and crafts that complement a modern shopping district at free port prices. The port city of Ensenada is only 20 minutes away with all the conveniences and services of a modern city, supermarkets, banks, medical facilities and service stations.
